“Toward fusion of cutting-edge researches and clinical experience-based insight”

I am greatly honored to host the 65th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Child Neurology (JSCN). This meeting covers a wide range of topics particularly recent development related to child neurology, and shall be held at Okayama Convention Center and Okayama Prefectural Medical Association Hall, Okayama, Japan on May 25 – 27, 202. We have a special aim to try to link and fuse the achievements of cutting-edge researches and deep insight based on clinical experience to further augment all aspects of child neurology. We plan to hold the congress as a hybrid event combining in-person and virtual styles to cope with uncertain persistence of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Okayama is a very nice place to visit and faces the Inland Sea of Seto (Setonaikai), which is the body of calm water surrounded by the main Japanese islands of Honshu, Shikoku, and Kyushu. Okayama city is situated in the center of western Japan’ transportation network. The venue is located 30 minutes from Okayama Airport and 3 minutes’ walk from Japan Railway (JR) Okayama Station, a major nexus in the railway network of western Japan. In and around Okayama, you can enjoy the beauty of nature, many attractive Japanese cultures, and historical sites including Okayama Castle, Koraku Garden, and Kurashiki Bikan Historial Quarte.

It is our pleasure to welcome everyone who wants to study child neurology to this fantastic event in Japan. You are strongly encouraged to attend the International Session, where you can have fruitful discussion and warm international friendship. We believe the event will provide you real scientific excitement.
